Happy Birthday Mama!
Today is my mom's birthday! I cannot describe how important she is to me. I've been searching for quotes but nothing can express the way i feel of having her as my mom. She is the person closest to my heart. In her i get my inspiration, my comfort in times of trouble and joy that brightens up my day. She is my best friend. I always feel like a baby even though i'm all grown up now. I love her so much! To my beautiful mama, thank you for the undying care and love for us. Thank you for everything! Wishing you good health and happier years to come! Love you so much! No profession is greater than being a mother. They have the biggest pay of them all, the priceless love that we have for them.

Zamboanga City is slowly becoming western mindanao's fashion capital. Last September 17, 2010, all fashion designers in the city has gathered to show off their latest collections in a one-night dinner fashion show. Organized by the Alumni Association of Claret School of Zamboanga, the fashion show dubbed as Fashion REVOLUTION is a one of a kind event that focuses on the talent that the local designers has to offer. Also, Zamboanga's finest top models were also there to showcase their skills in the runway wearing their high fashion outfits. The night was also filled with other talents like singing, dancing and acting by the students of Claret. This event is surely a good jumpstart for Zamboanga designers to be gathered and to be able to showcase their master pieces to the public. It's also a way to raise awareness of the fashion industry here in the city. Here are the photos of the fashion show. More photos after the jump.

AJ and Joan Onsite
September 18, 2010 - It's a rainy day so almost all shots are indoor. This is our fourth onsite video production and our first event coordinated by EverAfter (Sam and Al). This is also our first time to work with C-Works Studio and Mr. Kerwin Baldovino. The wedding is held at the St. Joseph Parish Church and the reception is at Garden Orchid Convention Center. We thought we were late because we came a couple of minutes from the call time but still we were early. While waiting at the lobby, we had a little brainstorming and took our late breakfast. Hooray for Hot Choco! We started shooting with the details and tried to deviate from the usual styles. We were also adjusting from the new people we are working with. These people are really my inspiration because they are the top people in the business. Talking about inspiration, i didn't expect this day would be full of inspiration. :D a smile can really lighten a gloomy day. Anyways, going back to the wedding, i really loved the reception. From event design to food choice, everything was amazing. I also enjoyed the flowing cocktails in the open bar. And before the night concludes, our video presentation was showed. Its an amazing feeling to see our work in those screens. So without further ado, here's the video.

Since these photos will be used for the wedding, we didn't post it yet until the wedding so it wont be spoiled. :D The location of the photoshoot is at the west coast of the city in a resort in Brgy. Jonald and Cathy Onsite Video and Photobooth
03 September 2010 - My first onsite editing. it was almost cancelled in the last minute because of the stupid incompetent machine that i was using. The software got crazy minutes before the presentation, i guess, because of low memory. But thank God because we made it through and the video was really appreciated. So here is the video. Enjoy!

Dear Blog
Dear blog, sorry if i dont have anything to post this few days. I have been very busy with meetings and layout for wedding albums. Last week, I finished one album already and i still have to wait for the approval of the client. I hope they like the design and layout because it is really graphical and colorful. The the theme is retro or vintage raging from victorian designs to psychedelic sixties pop art. This week im making a layout for a client of another photographer who we use to work with during weddings. I will feature him soon :D This album doesn't really have a theme so it will be just a simple, elegant layout with a touch of my modern design. I have two more albums to layout and hopefully i will finish them by the middle of the month. Oh yeah, its already September! Oh how time flies quickly. This month, well be having a couple of events including a wedding this friday where i will do the editing for their onsite video. We will also have an improvised photobooth where we will use a Canon Selphy Printer. I already designed the layout for the photo-souvenir and backdrop for the booth, and i also made the growing up video presentation. Tomorrow, i will prepare the video loop which will used as a backdrop for the stage during the reception. So thats it, dear blog. Ill be blogging more of my works and experiences soon after all these mayhem. I gotta lot of things to blog but i have to rest now so imma leave you with a preview of the retro-themed album that i was talking about. :D Truly yours, csz97. ^^
