1st Zamboanga Chalk Art Contest

The City Government of Zamboanga celebrates summer of 2016 with colors and a lot of fun activities for everyone. The latest of which is the first ever Chalk Art Contest which is open to young Zamboangueños with a creative imagination and sheer talent for drawing.

Held at Jardin Maria Clara Lobregat, Pasonanca, on April 24, 2016, the Chalk Art contest is a preliminary event leading to Dia de Maam Caling, a commemorative day of the first Zamboangueña Mayor, Maria Clara Lobregat.

13 teams battled it out at the streets of Pasonanca, as they try to show express through their art how they love Mi Ciudad de Zamboanga. Here are the 13 amazingly colorful street art in top view. Click for gallery view.
