Miko and Jhey SDE

10:41 PM
For almost half a month of no weddings, im back in my game last friday. In this particular SDE, i was really focused on choosing my clips properly. We had a meeting with the Trebor Z Team prior the wedding and they pointed out that i should avoid "dirty" shots. Those are clips with photographers or shooters in the frame or unnecessary mess in the background. I should also avoid shots with overexposed skies but with the help of a little color grading, i can still work them out if there are no other choices. Anyways, here's the wedding video of Miko and Jhey. Check out the beautiful starry ceiling by Elvin Sagun and the new 3d logo of Trebor Z at the end.

Here's a simple video invitation or Save-the-date i made in Adobe AfterEffects. The coordinator told me that the theme is somehow Japanese-inspired so I used falling cherry blossom petals for the background.

Jon and Isa Wedding Highlights

6:54 PM
This wedding is very special to me because it's the wedding of a close high school friend of mine, Isabeau. She has always been the mature type of lady who knows what exactly she wants in her life. She's very intelligent and she's a good speaker. She's always be remembered as our leader as she was the elected president of the student government during our last year in high school. But for me she's always be my good friend who is always there to listen and give advices to us friends.

I'm so happy to see her on her wedding day and see her in her beautiful white gown with a smile on her face. Her eyes glistened and i know she truly found her better half in Jon. As she proceeds to the new chapter of her life, here's the wedding video that will remind us of one of the most precious days of Isa's life.

epic zamboanga wedding sde video This has got to be my best SDE so far. The Trebor Z team were hired by the couple just to do another SDE. Yes, they already hired a team to do their wedding video. We learned that the other video team was from Manila that they booked during a Wedding Expo. Our SDE's were shown back to back in the reception and we're just happy that we did our best. Thanks to Vista de Lente for lending us some of their lenses to make this video more beautiful.

Birthday in Manila (part 3)

1:42 AM
I'm still in Manila for my birthday weekend escapade. It's a gloomy morning and Wella and I decided to take a dip in the condo's swimming pool. It's a nice pool with the buidings surrounding it.

The water was cold and relaxing. :)

We went to Market! Market! for some shopping

Brunch at Tokyo Tokyo. I was craving for California Makis

Sumo Tempura and Teriyaki! Yum yum!

We went back to the condo to get some things. On our way, we passed by the Mind Museum. We found this cute sticker bomb.

Walking in the streets of BGC is so nice

Rusty sculpture at Mind Museum

90 degrees of fun!

It was so windy...

We went back to Market! Market! and had some snacks. Milk tea at Happy Leaf. I missed this mini donuts called Orbits. So goood!

Then, we went to Bonifacio High Street.

I really want this planner by Paulo Coelho so Wella bought it for me as a birthday present. Thanks Wengst!

We had dinner at Fiesta Market, the food court of Market! Market! I didn't like their service but we're getting hungry..

Risa and Janek met with us for dinner.

Wella was craving for Gelatissimo ice cream. So expensive.

Gotta choose wisely.

We had this. I think its cookies and cream.

We passed by a book store and messed around with these book covers. Great idea, right?

I love the one in the right. It's very proportional and we look almost the same.hehe

Met with college buddy, Nhords, who is now a singer in Manila. We also met her boyfriend, Andrew, whom we had a good chat all night.

And so, our day ended with good conversations and full stomachs. We headed back to the condo and packed our stuffs. We went to the airport at 2AM.

Wella, very tired from a long day.

:)

We're back in the Zambo, and im 22!

Thank you Lord for this very beautiful and metaphorical sunrise!

My Birthday in Manila

1:51 AM
After the Graphika Manila conference, it's time for me to celebrate my birthday. I just turned 22 and it's my first time to celebrate it outside my hometown. I'm with my cousin (slash-little-sister), Wella, and we stayed at our aunt's condo in BGC. We went spent the day at Makati and MOA. Here's a photostory of my birthday :)

After the conference, we went to the condo where we will be staying for two nights. It's at Kensington Place in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. Upon reaching our unit, the clock strikes at 12 o'clock, which means it officially my birthday!

We went outside for an evening walk. Jump shots at the hallway :)

Elevator shot ^_^ My arms look buff here.hehe

Wella at Burgos Circle

We passed by at a Ministop to buy some stuff.

We bought these sweets and munched the night away.

Waking up in the condo is so surreal. Good morning birthday boy!

The view from up here is so nice. This is the Manila Golf and Country club. You can see Makati city in the background.

Mango float, our breakfast.hehe

They have this tiger toy. Photo-bombing while Wella is prepping.

Entrance of the building.

At Burgos Circle

Then we had lunch at McDo (Forbes town center) :)

I had "Big n Tasty", soooo goood!

Love this sculpture in front of McDo.

It's called "Pasasalamat".

Then we went to this cool place called The Collective. It's a business center for artists.

They had a relief operation for the flooding victims that day.

The place is full of cool murals. Can't resist to take photos ;)

Cute panda mural :3

Epic mural :)

Music and art :)

So street :)

Polaroid store. too bad it's close that time...

We passed by this store, Mochiko, which is sooo kawaii. Mochi is an ice cream wrapped in a sticky rice paste similar to "Palitaw"

I ordered Strawberry :) It really looked like the one in their poster outside

So pink.

After our short visit, we went to Greenbelt so i can show Wella the malls in the Makati. We passed by at Penshoppe and we saw Alec of PBB Teens. He's tall and he's so nice.

We want to watch a 3D movie at Glorietta but they only had Bourne Legacy. We went down and bought some refreshments before goin to MOA.

We went to Pasay via LRT and Jeep. Here's the famous landmark of MOA.

The brand-new "Arena" where Lady Gaga had her concert

We watched Step Up Revolution in 3D and it was so nice :)

Goofing around some posters

At the skating rink

We saw this Mochi stand. So addictive ^_^

Before going back to BGC, we passed by this stall and ate some kwek-kwek.

The globe is a huge spherical LED screen at night

At the bus going back to Ayala.

We went to Bonifacio High Street

Had coffee at Seattle's Best. This is "Red Velvet"

Cool photo wall. I want to make this in my room soon...

~And that's it! We went back to the condo to have a rest. We still got another day to enjoy. I really enjoyed this day with my cousin. Thank God for the blessings! Carpe Diem!

Watch out for Day 3 of my trip which i will be posting soon ^_^
