1. DOT Promotes Sta. Cruz Island

Looking forward to a quiet and restful vacation this summer? Visit Zamboanga City and enjoy the refreshing pink sands of the Great Santa Cruz Island! What makes this an ideal vacation place for people longing for peace and quiet is the absence of accommodation facilities in the island other than cottages available for rent. Guests are brought here by boat from Zamboanga City's Paseo del Mar and they are allowed to stay here only during the daytime. Another selling point of this Island are the pink sands which cannot be found elsewhere in the country.
