Awesome Movie Poster: Corazon

2:08 PM
Here's the most awaited horror-suspense movie this month. Since the first release of the movie trailer in youtube, i knew this movie is no ordinary one. Local films has a bad reputation for the weak quality of design. Corazon: Ang Unang Aswang gave a good impression with the beautiful cinematography and lighting as seen in their trailer. Recently, i discovered the movie poster and  i was simply amazed by the whole concept. Here, the main characters are in fetal position, hand-in-hand, lying in a nest-like structure. The movie is about the birth of the first "Aswang" which explains the nest, and fetal positioning of the characters. The grass and nest has also a subliminal meaning which resembles a womans birthhole, if you know what i mean *insert Mr Bean face meme here*.

I love the passion in Derek's eyes which tells the story of romance between the two. On the other hand, Erich's face and stare is hauntingly beautiful at the same time mysterious. I wonder how she will be the first Aswang. What i dont like in this poster is the rest of the elements under the logo. It is so distracting and the font is awful. I just want to crop them out. Anyways, hooray for this wonderful film. I can't wait to watch it..

Myi-Myi @ 18 Pre-debut and Trailer

1:36 AM
Daydream Events and Seed Interactive Multimedia Production proudly present Myi-Myi's Breakfast in Tiffany's Debut Trailer and Photos, inspired by the 1961 classic hollywood film starring fashion and film icon Audrey Hepburn. Adapted from a novel written by Truman Capote, Breakfast at Tiffany's, according to The New York Times, is a "completely unbelievable but wholly captivating flight into fancy composed of unequal dollops of comedy, romance, poignancy, funny colloquialisms and Manhattan's swankiest East Side areas captured in the loveliest of colors". See Myi-Myi in her Givenchy-inspired little black dress as she portrays the iconic role of Holly Golightly at the Fifth Avenue to the tune of the Oscar-winning soundtrack "Moon River" by Henry Mancini.

Aside from the movie posters for Erwin and Cathlean's Prenup set, we also made a trailer/prenup video for their wedding. The theme is Oscars night and the couple themselves star all the movies. We shot all the clips in one location in just a day. We posted it in our facebook page and it reached more than 70 likes already. We are so happy to have this opportunity of making a unique and creative wedding trailer. This is really one of my favorite video production so far. Here's the video and hope you like it, too :D

Movie Posters for Prenup

2:36 AM
For their prenupital photos, Erwin and Cathlean recreated their own version of posters from different movies such as Twilight, Titanic, Memoirs of a Geisha, My Sassy Girl and a lot more. It is really a unique concept since they want to have an Oscar's Night for their wedding reception. They will really be the stars of the night. So here are the movie posters/prenup photos of Erwin and Cathlean. More photos after the jump :D

Gothic Stuff

5:37 PM
This week has been such a busy week for me. Our manager in Seed Interactive has been out of town and i was the one who took charge in our activities for the week.. We had a video and photo shoot for a debutante for her trailer/invitation for her party. The theme is gothic and the shooting took place at the lush mountains and grasslands of Pasonanca. I have to create a one minute cinematic trailer in after effects and burn a copies which will be released this week. I already made the CD cover that i edited in photoshop. Here it is! :D

Talking about gothic stuff, i'm really excited for Tim Burton's next film. It is a stop motion animation which he used in his famous gothic films like Nightmare Before Christmas, Coraline and Corpse Bride. Burton will be recreating The Addams Family which is one of my favorite cartoons when i was a kid. My fascination for gothic and macabre is a result of watching the cartoon series. Anyways, Burton will be using puppets like what he did in the films that i mentioned. He will be using the original character designs of American cartoonist Charles Addams, the creator of The Addams Family. This will really be a beautiful movie for sure so ill be watching out for updates about this movie. So that's it! I'll leave you with the famous theme song of the Addams Family. da da da da, snap snap!
