Princess chose "Barbie" as the theme of her debut as she used to collect Barbie stuffs when she was a little girl. Elvin Sagun, the event coordinator provided the debutant an elegant venue and setup with splashes of pink accessories and decors. A huge pink Barbie doll cake also amazed the guests.

With less preparation time (the client hired us just a week before the debut), this birthday celebration turned out to be one of the most memorable events we covered.

This is one of my favorite debut teasers so far. Princess is also a regionalian like me and is currently studying at Siliman University. The concept of this video is mainly about having fun, being young and breaking free.

But to achieve that we placed a lot of effort in putting her inside the box. We created a simple set at their home with a white backdrop. Then I added the graphics in after affects. We also included her school affiliation but still being cheerful and fun. So here is Princess in her debut role as Barbie. :D

Just like what Katy Perry said on this song, "that was such an epic fail", this video was one of them. No, i'm not talking about the party, im referring to the onsite video that I wasn't able to finish on time. :( Which means it was a no-show. Due to miscommunication, we estimated that we will still have enough time to render after the dinner. But the programme was cut short since there were no 18 treasures.

I already prepared the first part of the video the night before and all i have to do is include the details and highlights of the event. But, things just turned bad one after the other. Well, these things happen and i surely learned my lesson. On the brighter side, the party went well and they really enjoyed it. :D Christine is on her prettiest look and she really rocked the night away. Sharmaine is not the typical debutante who wants to be a princess on her big day. She chose to be a glamed up witch and have a birthday concert. Embracing the darkness and finding light on her coming of age, Sharmaine is one talented girl who loves to act, sing and dance. Every detail revolves around the avant-garde motif, from the video teaser shot by Seed Interactive, to her glamorous gowns and outfit by fashion designers Geronie Labora and Neri Jaruda, and up to the event styling and decoration organized by Adventures Unlimited (Marlo Luna). Here's another themed debut coming up this month. Mara Elize will revive a childhood tale on her special day filled with thrill and mystery. Through her 18 years of journey in life, she faced different challenges, obstacles and hardships. Let's take this journey on February 5 as the little girl in the red hood unveils the woman within.

I've done lots of wedding albums but this is the first time i made a album for a debut. Rhea Joyce is our first debutant with Mr Roberto Bondoc as the coordinator.
