When it comes to vintage themed events, no one does it better than Daydream Events by Aleli Tan. It has been months since my last collaboration with Maam Ai and im always excited to do videos like this. "It's all about the details" is the motto. Check out the classic wax stamp and her scroll invite. The location is a private residence of a doctor here in Zamboanga. The outdoor shots were taken at Centro Pastoral where the clouds were epic! This is one of my favorite debut teasers so far. Princess is also a regionalian like me and is currently studying at Siliman University. The concept of this video is mainly about having fun, being young and breaking free.

But to achieve that we placed a lot of effort in putting her inside the box. We created a simple set at their home with a white backdrop. Then I added the graphics in after affects. We also included her school affiliation but still being cheerful and fun. So here is Princess in her debut role as Barbie. :D

I really like Christine since our first meeting. Obviously, she's a very pretty lady but her personality is what makes her more admirable. She's very approachable and friendly, and always treats everyone with a smile. On her debut, she wants to be rockin pop star in the likes of Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry. She wants it to be very colorful, wild and fun at the same time.

For her pre-debut shoot, we went to their family's house and farm at the west coast to shoot some country-like scenes. We had another shoot at a hotel, where we setup a slumber party with some of her friends. With the direction and encouragement of the crew, she finally set herself free and produced these beautiful images. So here's the video trailer of Christine's debut. We really had a lot of fun during the shoots specially because of the crazy and energetic staff, from the coordinator to the designer up to our crew. We hope everyone liked it :)

Sharmaine is not the typical debutante who wants to be a princess on her big day. She chose to be a glamed up witch and have a birthday concert. Embracing the darkness and finding light on her coming of age, Sharmaine is one talented girl who loves to act, sing and dance. Every detail revolves around the avant-garde motif, from the video teaser shot by Seed Interactive, to her glamorous gowns and outfit by fashion designers Geronie Labora and Neri Jaruda, and up to the event styling and decoration organized by Adventures Unlimited (Marlo Luna).
