Zamboanga, get ready for the grandest and most colorful festival of the region, the Zamboanga Hermosa Festival 2021! The City Government has lined up more virtual events this year including new competitions. Registration is ongoing! Here's the calendar of events for #SafeHermosa2021 which will be aired Live Via Facebook (Zamboanga Hermosa Festival) and Youtube Channel (Zamboanga City Official):

This week episode of Glee paid tribute to the 70's hit musical film Grease starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John. I really love how they connected the musical with real teenage issues that are really occuring in high schools nowadays. I love their interpretation of the classic songs like "Grease Lightning" and "You're all that I want" while making relevant to the show's storyline. This has got to be one of my favorite episodes yet.


My Grease fever didn't stop there. Just this week, we also produced a Grease-inspired music video for a group in one of the companies here in Zamboanga. My friend got this project and ask me to direct and edit the video. We went to the location during the shooting day without any knowledge on what we will shoot. I'm glad they were prepared with their choreography, costume and make-up. Accordingly, this music video will be their entry for a competition their company is having on December. So we shot the best that we can and edited it like it came from your old betamax tapes.hehe. Enough said, here's our 70's inspired music video to the tune of "Summer Nights" and "You're All That I Want".

First of all, congratulations to all the graduates of batch 2012! It has been a long journey and this event is a milestone that will ever change your life. It's a start of another chapter in your life. This year the Nursing Student Organization of WMSU trusted Seed Interactive to be the official photo and video team for their Graduation activities. They will have a Graduation Ball on April 10 at Astoria Plaza. The theme will be V³: Vintage vs Vegas.

For the video trailer, we shot it at several locations with two leading female characters representing the two different themes. For "Vintage", Lei (Ms Nursing) played as a 50's pin up girl who was getting prepared for a night-out with his boyfriend/fiance. For Vegas, Maritoni (Top Model 2010 2nd Runner Up) is a socialite strolling in the Fabulous City of Las Vegas and playing poker with her mates. Last year, we got to work with Maritoni and the past winners of Top Model where we produced the first ever fashion film made here in Zamboanga. The supporting male characters were also featured in Seed Interactive's page, when we had a photoshoot of them for Victorio Modeling Agency. Here's the first edit of the video trailer.

Just like what Katy Perry said on this song, "that was such an epic fail", this video was one of them. No, i'm not talking about the party, im referring to the onsite video that I wasn't able to finish on time. :( Which means it was a no-show. Due to miscommunication, we estimated that we will still have enough time to render after the dinner. But the programme was cut short since there were no 18 treasures.

I already prepared the first part of the video the night before and all i have to do is include the details and highlights of the event. But, things just turned bad one after the other. Well, these things happen and i surely learned my lesson. On the brighter side, the party went well and they really enjoyed it. :D Christine is on her prettiest look and she really rocked the night away. I really like Christine since our first meeting. Obviously, she's a very pretty lady but her personality is what makes her more admirable. She's very approachable and friendly, and always treats everyone with a smile. On her debut, she wants to be rockin pop star in the likes of Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry. She wants it to be very colorful, wild and fun at the same time.

For her pre-debut shoot, we went to their family's house and farm at the west coast to shoot some country-like scenes. We had another shoot at a hotel, where we setup a slumber party with some of her friends. With the direction and encouragement of the crew, she finally set herself free and produced these beautiful images. So here's the video trailer of Christine's debut.
