Laugh Trip: Mananang biday

10:19 PM
Reposted from Facebook.

Inday: I believe that my acquired skills, training and expertise in management with the use of standard tools, and my discipline and experience will contribute significantly to the value of the work that you want done. My creativity, productivity and work-efficiency and the high quality of outcome I can offer will boost the work progress.

Amo: [Nagdugo ang ilong.]

~

Inday: Compromising safety with useless aesthetics, the not-so-well engineered architectural
design of our kitchen lavatory affected the boy's cranium with a slight boil at the left temple near the auditory organ.

Amo: [Nagdugo ulit ang ilong.]

~

Kinagabihan, habang naghahapunan....

Inday: The consistency was fine. But you see, it seems that the increased amount of sodium chloride affected the taste drastically and those actions are irreversible. I do apologize.

Inday: Because I don't want you to see me doing absolutely nothing.

Donya: [Hinimatay.]

~

Inday: It's absurd! It was never a fact that he will inflict an injury to anyone. I can only imagine how you handle schizophrenic kids in this educational institution. Your policies need revision because they suck!

Principal: [Nagbitiw sa tungkulin.]

~

Inday: A change in the weather patterns might have occurred, wrecking havoc to the surroundings. The way the debris is scattered indicates that the gust of wind was going northeast, causing damage to the path it was heading for.

Inday: Stop your rambunctious behavior! It is bound to result in property damages and if that happens, there will be the corresponding corporal punishment to be inflicted upon you!

Inday: Sometimes, people choose to leave not because of selfish reasons but because they just know instinctively that things will get worse if they stay. Leaving can be very tough, and it's even harder when people can't understand you for doing so.

Junior: [Binalunguyngoy na naman. Takbo ulit sa CR.]

~

Biday: To forestall further hopes of acquaintance, my unequivocal reply to your request - Irrevocable denial.

Inday: The statute restricts me to love you but you made the provocations. The way you smile is the proximate cause why I love you. We have some rules to think of, however. We have no vested rights to love each other because the upper household dismissed my petition!

Dodong: Perhaps you are mistaken.... I was merely attempting to expand my network of interests by involving you in my daily recreation. Heretofore, you can expect an end to any verbal articulation from myself!

Basurero (kay inday): Be careful in letting go of the things you think are just nothing because someday you will realize that the one you gave away was the very thing you had been wishing for to stay..

Inday: Tarush! Pachenes pa 'tong chorva eklavubo chuva tabayishki kun suplandish!

Fortune Cookies: Father, Forgive Them

12:28 AM
It's already April and i have been very busy with lots of editing. I started this daily drawing challenge and got stuck in day 3, i got 7 days to cover! Anyways, last week was the Holy Week and i had my "first station of the cross" or journey to the cross. I was with the Seed Interactive crew that day and had a photowalk at Abong-Abong. It was tiring yet fun coz i got friends with me along the way. Im not a Catholic but i like this activity coz it doesn't only burn calories, i got to meet different kinds of people, see the beautiful city lights at night, and have my own little reflections about life along the way. The week reminded us of God's sacrifice for us, and His eternal love despite of our sinful nature.

I haven't posted my photos yet coz i didn't have the time to pick and edit. I saw many photos of the Holy Week activities of my friend at facebook and their blogs. There was also this photo of a girl posing at the cross and people were just in rage. Religious fanatics were the frontliners of this protest, posting harsh words as if they have the authority to judge these people. Here are some of those photos.

I'm reposting this from a facebook user who expressed his thoughts about this issue. I definitely agree with what he has to say.

~

"Aint here to bash these people.

The only thing im gon point out is. Every single one of us do this every single day.

Y'all talking about them being disrespectful. That they'll burn in hell. They dont deserve to live. And too much cussing, swearing, cursing. D na daw sila nahiya.

And so.. My question is

Nahihiya ba tayo
When we have sex outside marriage?
When we lie?
When we cheat?
When we disobey?
When we have pride in our hearts?
When we steal?
When we are greedy?
When we envy?

and the list goes on

Aint sayin that what they did was fine. But the actions said above are and what they did are all equal. All sins are equal. No matter how big. or how small. And it doesnt even matter when it is done.

Romans 3:23

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God

It says ALL.

You judge a person based on what they have done?

Actions CANT/ WONT/ WILL NEVER save you.
Try reading Ephesians 2:8-9

Nuff said. This is the real thing.

Acting holy on a holy week? Get real homeys.

We should live a Holy life no matter what day it is.

peace out"

~

Indeed, we are entitled to our own opinion. It's sad to see them disrespecting one's religious belief/icon. But who are we to judge and say words without even looking at ourselves. This is just a physical cross but the real Cross is Jesus and in one way or the other, we have sinned against Him. So let's not pray that these people have sinned. Let us pray for ourselves for we are sinners, too. May we have a peaceful life ahead. :D

Fortune Cookies: I am an Artist

3:06 PM

This is one of the most liked and top post of the day, a drawing of an artist with a signboard expressing his/her sentiments as a struggling artist. It is really a sad fact that we people in the creative business find hard to make profit out of our talents. Young artists always find themselves hungry at the end of the day cause their works are always "underpaid". People think that it's an easy job for us and they even give a low the value for our work. However, we don't have anyone to blame but ourselves.

Artists are not business people and they can't even give a justifiable price for their works especially when they are just new in the business. They get excited when they get a job. They always think of the final output and forget about the whole amount of effort, time and skill required in the production. Once the final output is delivered, that's the time they give the price. Sometimes, they even make the client decide on how much they will pay. Soon, it becomes a routine and when they become tired and uninspired, they realize that they have done so much and still they don't have that much money.

I, myself, is a struggling artist. I value art so much that i can't give a price to my work. What I value is the client's satisfaction, amazement, happiness, trust and respect. Merging business in the creative industry let me realize how to balance money and work. This is the part where I consider myself as a DESIGNER. For me making art is a personal thing and no one can influence me on what issue to tackle, what colors to choose or how my artwork will look. A true work of art is one that I created by expressing myself as an artist. But unlike artists, designers always consider a lot of factors in creating a work: the budget, time frame, the ideas of the client, your own ideas, the target audience, resources, and a lot more. A designer has a good balance of artistry and business, may it be a graphic designer, fashion designer, interior designer, etc. It's not always easy to learn the business side but when you are committed, you learn how to live without the regrets of wasting your effort and time.

Some say designers are not artists and i think it's their opinion. For me, as a designer I am also an artist because I have the talent and skill in creating a beautiful image. It doesn't matter what technique or medium you use or how expensive your materials are. What matters most is that you are capable of delivering your client's vision without being hungry at the end of the day : ) Just sayin'

Touching Tales: They All Have Feelings

11:42 PM
Hi guys! I'm introducing a new series of post not related to my field of work but worth sharing. These are famous stories shared all over the world to spread the wonderful side of life. These are touching tales from different people all over the world connected together through social platforms like facebook and tumbler.

-o-

A mother tiger lost her cubs due to premature labour. Shortly after, she became depressed and her health declined. She was later diagnosed with depression. Since tigers are endangered, every effort was made to secure her health. Zoologists wrapped piglets up in tiger-print cloth, and presented them to the mother tiger. She now loves these piglets and treats them like her own. And needless to mention, her health is back on track. ♥

Yes, they ALL have feelings....just like we do. And yes, their feelings ought to be respected. They shouldn’t have to suffer because of our ignorance and ego.

Finger Print Secret

2:02 PM
I never knew that finger prints can also show the type of person I am. I tried this facebook app that interprets your personality according to the pattern of your finger prints. There are two basic patterns, the circle and the wave. You will basically input the type of pattern of your fingers of your left hand (for guys) or right hand (for ladies). Mine was "WWWWW" which means all of the fingers of my left hand has the wave pattern. Then, just click publish, and voila! Here is my finger print secret, and it is shockingly true!

It says "This person is a straightforward (so true) honest person (most of the time) who goes with the flow (true!!!). The fingers indicate someone very sensitive (yup, i am emotional but not in public), who is especially suited to design and creative work (100% accurate). People with these fingerprint patterns tend to be shy (soooo true) and uncomfortable in social situations (*awkward* but true), so are not suited to work in PR, politics (well, i had some experience in politics but i knew it just wasn't my thing) or any kind of work requiring them to meet people (yeah, im not good at this)."
