February in Zamboanga City means it's #DiaDeZamboanga Season! A month-long festivity is prepared by the City Government and private partners to celebrate the Charter Day of Zamboanga City. There will be a sports festival, film festival, drum and lyre competition, a music fun run, a color fun run, and the highlight of the celebration, the Grand Civic-Military Parade and main program. Another digital illustration inspired by the whismical world of imagination :D started as a doodle, traced in illustrator and colored in photoshop. Experimented more on textures and depth compared to my previous work. Check out the illusions in this art ^_^

I really like Christine since our first meeting. Obviously, she's a very pretty lady but her personality is what makes her more admirable. She's very approachable and friendly, and always treats everyone with a smile. On her debut, she wants to be rockin pop star in the likes of Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry. She wants it to be very colorful, wild and fun at the same time.

For her pre-debut shoot, we went to their family's house and farm at the west coast to shoot some country-like scenes. We had another shoot at a hotel, where we setup a slumber party with some of her friends. With the direction and encouragement of the crew, she finally set herself free and produced these beautiful images. So here's the video trailer of Christine's debut. We really had a lot of fun during the shoots specially because of the crazy and energetic staff, from the coordinator to the designer up to our crew. We hope everyone liked it :)

I always liked the 70's. The music, the clothes, the sunflowers, the spirit and colors! It's the hippie era and the people back then were just laid back, cool, and funky! Anyways, today is world environment day so i was inspired to create a digital art. I wanted to incorporate the 70's style so i came up with this. It's all about music and nature. The title is Rock and Soul, which i got from a popular hippie music back then. Click for full view. Enjoy!
