PRESENTATION OF STORY

OVER-ALL

"Seasons" is a fantastic animation about Spring in the form of a beautiful young girl hatching from the ground. The animation starts from a seedling which grows into a girl. The deserted place becomes a beautiful spring land, lush with flora and fauna. She run and run and the place transforms. The rain pours and snow showered around. It ends up becoming a seedling and thus remaining the cycle.

This film is one the best short animations that I saw. It has difficulty, originality, creativity, technicality and a beautiful treatment. The music sets the mood and gives a surrealistic feel. The medium which is sand is undeniably difficult to use. It requires nothing but talent and skill to create this kind of piece. Despite of the dullness of sand, the animators was creative to use movements and images to portray color and life in the animation. The character animation was perfect, and the transitions were excellent. This film is one of the finalist of 2008 Aniboom Awards.
