Presenting the first ever aerial shots used in a Zamboanga Wedding! Timmy and Marian were such a fun couple. During her wedding day, Marian is just filled with lots of emotions. She's so happy and positive as she was having her makeup. She said that she felt like she's the most beautiful girl in the world. She smiled ceaselessly and was just super excited for the wedding to start. While recording a short message for his soon to be husband, she can't stop her tears. Timmy, on the other hand, was sweating while giving his message. He was filled with mixed emotions.

The couple were also fortunate to have the first wedding video featuring aerial shots taken using a drone equipped with an HD camera. Vista de Lente is the first to offer this kind of video shots and I'm overwhelmed to be the one to edit the SDE. Thanks Sir Reymond for the opportunity and im looking forward to more projects! Watch Timmy and Marian's SDE here.

When it comes to vintage themed events, no one does it better than Daydream Events by Aleli Tan. It has been months since my last collaboration with Maam Ai and im always excited to do videos like this. "It's all about the details" is the motto. Check out the classic wax stamp and her scroll invite. The location is a private residence of a doctor here in Zamboanga. The outdoor shots were taken at Centro Pastoral where the clouds were epic! Check out Alyssa's predebut video below. Enjoy!

After the very busy December, we're back in class. We started this year with fun activities for our classes before we go to the Midterm week. For my ITCA106 (Sound Supervision) class, I asked them to do a live group cover of a Pop Music of their choice. Nikolai's group got the highest scores with their cover of "Pumped Up Kicks" by Foster the Kids. The Trebor Z crew was there to document this activity.

For my IT405 (Digital Cinematography) class, our boss, Robert Zapata, Jr, gave an extensive talk on DSLR Videography, the equipments we use and some tips on using the DSLR for Video. Before we ended, Darz also gave a magic trick performance. Thanks again to my very participative students and the Trebor Z for sharing their time and knowledge. Check out the video below to see the highlights of our back to back activities.

Music: Tongue-tied by Group Love

This week episode of Glee paid tribute to the 70's hit musical film Grease starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John. I really love how they connected the musical with real teenage issues that are really occuring in high schools nowadays. I love their interpretation of the classic songs like "Grease Lightning" and "You're all that I want" while making relevant to the show's storyline. This has got to be one of my favorite episodes yet.

My Grease fever didn't stop there. Just this week, we also produced a Grease-inspired music video for a group in one of the companies here in Zamboanga. My friend got this project and ask me to direct and edit the video. We went to the location during the shooting day without any knowledge on what we will shoot. I'm glad they were prepared with their choreography, costume and make-up. Accordingly, this music video will be their entry for a competition their company is having on December. So we shot the best that we can and edited it like it came from your old betamax tapes.hehe. Enough said, here's our 70's inspired music video to the tune of "Summer Nights" and "You're All That I Want".
